Non-EEA PR granted without ex-ID!! :-)

Hello All,

I just wanted to let you know that I just got my confirmation letter that I have been granted Permanent Residence!!! Timeline below:

Non-EEA applying for PR on basis of ROR - did not submit ex-ID!! I did include a cover letter explaining this and I also had minimal info of my ex-employment whilst we were married due to the marriage ending acrimoniously. My ROR was granted on the basis of exact same info I submitted for my PR which I explained.

12/07/17 - Application submitted
14/ 07/17 - Money was taken out of the account
15/ 08/17 - Confirmation email received
16/08/17 Biometrics Letter Received and sent off same day
23/08/17: COA received with right to work dated 20/08/2017
18/10/2017: Application DECIDED 15/10/2017
19/10/2017: Letter confirming PR granted in 2014
AWAITING PR CARD NOW

Took just over 3 months, I am so happy! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! It is possible to get PR without EX-ID!

have you written any letter of reason for not submitting EU passport?
And did you provided them any copy of EU passport?
Are you A2 or A8 non-eu family member?

Yes I wrote a cover letter explaining we have had no contact since 2014 and all my emails and texts to request info have been ignored. This is what we stated when I applied for my Retained Right of Residence.

I did not even submit a copy of ID.
