FBR application but no original long form certificate

I am looking to applying for FBR, but the instructions say that I need original long form certificates. The original certificates no longer exist. Am I able to gain FBR with certified copies that the General Register Office provides?

Yes, the one you get from GRO is an "original" in this context - they just mean no photocopies.
