Hi All, I just have a question, I am extending my Tier 2 Visa, Do I need to take an English test again?

I don't think so as what I understand from the statement on
https://www.gov.uk/tier-2-general/extend-your-visa
"You must have a new certificate of sponsorship and you must meet all other application conditions, but you won’t need to send evidence in support of your application if you’ve sent it for a previous Tier 2 application."

However I would like gurus on this immigration board to provide their inputs, so don't buy my advice...

Following are not required if you are already on Tier 2(G).

1. You do not need to prove you meet the required level of English because you have current leave in Tier 2
(General) leave to remain, or had leave in the past
2. You do not need to prove maintenance because you have current leave in Tier 2 (General) leave to remain
