Hi All
I am sharing one of my friend's situation if anyone have the same situation.
Applied for ILR on 30 July 2017 in Sheffield premium service on 10 years route.
Original Passport was with HO. Also my friend has TOEIC issue. Case worker taken interview about TOEIC. They did not give any decision that day and did not give any reason.

My friend is very worried. About TOEIC two immigration office also came to his house to take interview two years ago. But they said they were satisfied. No idea why TOEIC come back again. We are not sure decision was not given due to TOEIC or for original passport.

Is anyone have similar situation ? is anyone got ILR who had TOEIC issue ?

I have submit LR application - 22nd of Aug 2017 in Croydon via express service
Hi Deniz1983!
I've submitted my ILR application on the same day in Croydon, and they gave me the same excuse for the delay ("application seems fine, but we need to do further checks"), and no updates since. Have you heard back about your case yet? Please update us once you get any news, thanks!

Hi Shazam,
Based on my experience once you get the letter you have to sit and wait until the HO gets back to us, I have called the customer service and also a letter from my solicitor the reply is if the case worker needs details they will get in touch with me and it has been nine months since my application and no communication whatsoever, the next step i have done is contacted my local MP and he did sent a letter to HO and he will get back to me in 5 weeks time to get the status of application.

Its just a matter of waiting and being positive that ONE DAY we will get a response.

Thank you, Ezgi! Same here, trying to get in touch with them via different channels but they don't respond to any emails, so hopefully this will be sorted sooner than later, it's been almost a month now. Good luck to you too! Will post once I hear from them.

Hello Every one,

My ILR is now been approved by the grace of God and have received all the documents today. I'm thankful to each one of you for keeping positive spirits all through this rough period and I'm really hoping that all your applications will be approved very soon.

This forum is really helpful and once again thanks to everyone!

Here you go with my story!

1) An application was submitted - Premium Appointment in July 2016 at PSC Croydon and got a letter from case worker saying that it requires further checks.
2) Additional documents requested in SEP 2016 ( ADDITIONAL PAYSLIPS AND BANK STATEMENTS)
3) 2nd-week of April 2017 - UKVI compliance check - An officer visited, interviewed all the employees
4) Additional documents once again requested on 01 May 2016 ( Full One year Pay slips Bank Statements, P60 and Employer letter)
5) Sent all the documents via special delivery. and Then home office received them and later misplaced them by forwarding them to a wrong department.
5) After chasing them for the update, they have investigated and found the documents with a different department and processed the file on priority.
6) ILR approved on 3rd week of June

So, after well over 11 Eleven months waiting time, the final decision has come positively.
I can only suggest that if everything is in order in your files, without any fault on your side, be patient and the decision will be in your favour.
Once again thanks to everyone! and good luck to every one of you.

If anybody would like to know details or need any help in their applications please do not hesitate to send me a message.
How did you follow this up? Email or phone?
Can you please provide the details for me to get an update on my case

Hi all,
I have applied for ILR (10 yrs route) at Croydon premium service on 26th of September 2017 and I was given a letter stating that the application is valid but further checks will be carried out to get a decision.

Does anyone know how they prioritize the applications? Since they have not given a decision on the day, does it mean that my application is at the back of the queue and they will not look at my application till they have completed all the application they have received via post and PEO applications that are deferred before mine?

Please help!!

Hi everyone,

Has anyone who's had a compliance check carried out continued to wait after the results came back?

I made a PSC application for ILR on 26 July after 5 years on Tier 2 (General) with the same employer. It was held for further checks on the day, and they requested I send P60s for the last 6 years, as well as bank statements and payslips covering the last 6 months. I did have a salary increase before I applied, and I understand now that this may have flagged up with the Home Office.

The company was visited by a compliance officer on 22 August, and she came back again on 25 August. She carried out the full audit and interviewed me too. On the day she told me she was very satisfied my role was skilled, and my managers have told me the inspection results were received the week beginning 4 September. The A rating was maintained.

However, I've still received no decision on my application. The compliance officer insisted her visit was not related to my ILR application, but I've contacted a solicitor who says he'd be surprised if the visit was unconnected to my application.

I contacted my MP for help before the compliance check had even happened, and her office said she'd written to HO about it. I haven't had anything further from her office since, despite several chases.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to who I else could contact to find out what's happening?

Thanks.

How long before applying for ILR did you receive an increase?

What was your salary before getting this increase?

How many other employees also got increases at or around the same time?

The pay rise took effect from January. My pay rose from £27k.

I'm the only person in the company who does my role, and it was re-evaluated, as it's expanded and become more specialised over the last seven years I've worked in it.

Unfortunately, a £8,000pa increase is an instant red flag to HO, especially if you are the only one in the company to get such a substantial pay rise. There are many Tier 2 G ILR applicants who had substantial increases shortly before applying for ILR, so HO is very aware of this and investigating the issue/sponsor/details.

All you can do now is wait for the outcome of your application.

Hi - thanks again for your response.

I do fully understand why it will have flagged up. I had just been hopeful the decision would be forthcoming after the compliance check, as it appears from several other users' experiences that the compliance check and sponsor investigation seems to be how HO investigates these concerns? I was curious if anyone else has experience this further wait.

Hi Moderator and all,
I received a phone call from Homeoffice after 9 month and the case worker asked me to come to home office to fill a self assessment questionnaire
Could you kindly advice what it is about as when I applied for ILR i showed only my current employment to meet the requirements and not self employment.
I have shown self employment and work for my previous extension.

Hi All,

Just wondering, what type of checks/enquiries HO does on Set LR? both in straightforward cases and with gap?

Even If it is a straightforward Set LR case would they check HMRC, NHS,Police etc?

A friend of mine is facing a similiar problem, when a letter was handed over to him saying further enquiries at Glasgow PSE.

Need some input on it from Seniors

Thanks

Hi Guys,

I have been a keen follower of this thread until my time for application for FLR M (Further leave to remain) came so I could put the timescale, issues of my application via Premium Service Centre - Glasgow. Below information might help people who may fall in the same situation -

Premium Service appointment - 13/10/2017

We were told that I missed out 2015 and 2016 address proof of my (sponsor) wife to prove that we lived in same address. I was so silly to miss out such simple documentation. The case worker told us and assured us that the application is fine and she can only make a decision within 2 weeks from receiving the required documents. she said to send the documents via post as we are not required to submit them personally and we live 2.5 hrs from Glasgow.

Further Documents sent on 14/10/2017 (saturday) received by them (Special delivery) - 16/10/2017 (monday)

Kept on checking application status online but nothing changed until today 21/10/2017 (saturday) at 12.30 pm.

I got home from work same time (12.30 pm) and my wife was holding a parcel with a smile which was dropped off by the post man. Inside was my FLR M approved for 2.5 yrs and mentions BRP will be sent will arrive within 7 days.

The FLR M application was approved on 19/10/2017 but the update on application online was only made today 21/10/2017, therefore don't rely much on online status.

Waiting for BRP now and I will update here soon :) :D :!:

Hi,

I am seeking your help!

I have varied my FLR (FP) application to Set (LR) 0n 10 years long residency basis on 6th October 2017 at Glasgow PSC. They have taken my biometric and within an hour they have handed me a letter stated that "your application is valid but they are required further check" something like that. Since then I haven't heard from them and I tried to contact UKVI customer support they are just providing me generic answers I think from FAQ list.

Does anyone in the same situation and almost in the same time frame has got some updates?

Any suggestion what should I do now? also, I haven't received any communication regarding my previous application (FLR FP).

Thanks!

Goodluck to all in the same situation.
