Solihull Premimum Centre is Closed

Post by naveencandy8 » Tue Oct 31, 2017 10:21 am

Hi Folks

I applied for my Tier 2 General visa by using premium service but they provide me a letter in which they mentioned that the application is valid and need further checks. Its been two weeks no one get back to me yet and I need to travel next week. As I can see solihull centre is permanently closed. Any one have email ID or contact number so I can contact them. Looking forward to hear from you.

Thanks

Is it a change of employer or an application for extension with the same employer?

Is your salary in line with your SOC?

Is the salary at least £30,000pa?

Has the full and proper RLMT process been completed before you were offered the job and a COS issued?

Perhaps they wish to check that the RLMT was done properly and ask your employer for evidence of applicants.

They havnt contact to anyone yet. How they are going to contact my employer. If they want anything they can call me or my employer but we havnt heard anything from anyone. Even SOLIHULL Premium Centre is permanently closed by UK VISA. How long roughly it takes more to do all checks.

It can take weeks. Nothing you can do but wait.

If HO want to check the RLMT process and to ensure you have not been 'pre-selected' or that the RLMT was tailored to you and exclude all others, they will not contact you, they will contact the authorised person at the company.

But whats the point to use the premium service,

I already have an service agreement with my employer. I was providing service under Tier 1 entrepreneur. Is it gonna be a reason or something. My all records are update. Nothing pending. I am just worried. My friend applied under same criteria and he got his visa same day at Glasgow.

Yes, this could very well be the issue they want to look into and investigate, i.e. 'pre-selected' for the job basically.

Your future employer will have to satisfy HO that there was no settled/British or EU citizen suitable for the job. HO can ask them for CVs, interview notes and justifications on why people were rejected.

HO will also look at how many other Tier 2 Sponsors there are and also possibly look into your Tier 1 Ent time etc as you cannot be self employed/contractor as a Tier 2 General visa holder.

What is the SOC code your employer has used?

Thanks for update.

As per the job role no applicant is eligible for the job role. and its 4 month still left for my extension. I need to closed down my company after getting an approval. But at the moment I am not able to do anything.

What do you mean no applicant is eligible? What is the SOC code for the job?
and its 4 month still left for my extension.
Irrelevant if you are switching visa categories. Your Tier 1 Ent will be cancelled the minute your Tier 2 is granted.

Switching from Tier 1 to Tier 2

Post by naveencandy8 » Mon Nov 27, 2017 2:01 pm

Hi Seniors

I applied for tier 2 general same day service. I am switching my category from Tier 1 to Tier 2 but my application was in hold from last 5 weeks. How long roughly it will take to get decision. I am bit worried about this.

Company has done all RLT and there is no one on Tier 2 at the moment in a company.

Is anyone in the same situation. or can some one help what will happen next. Looking forward to hear from seniors.

As already advised, a possible reason for the delay.

How could any of us possibly know your case and why it is taking so long. HO will take as long as they need to so that they can make sure your application is valid, it is a genuine vacancy and that RLMT was completed properly.

Sorry to disturb you . I have one question in regards to RLMT, My employer has run the advertisement for 5 months and they are not able to find any one during that period and after that they discussed with me and assign me a cos. Is that qualify RLMT. Can you please advise me.

As long as the RLMT was not tailored to suit you specifically, thereby excluding anyone else, then it should be ok.
