Application Process from Canada

Hello,

Can I please clarify the application process?

I am the husband and sponsor for my wife who is a Canadian citizen.

We have completed the Visa4UK online application but not submitted it yet.

I have gathered all the paperwork on my end. I am unclear whether it needs to be sent to my wife before I submit the online application, or do I hold onto it in case it needs to be posted to Sheffield? Can someone give me a quick run through the application process from the moment I submit the online application?
