Thanks for the update. What an absolute shambles though to wait that long. How can they justify holding someone's passport for that long to renew a card? Apparently they renew UK Citizens' passports in a few weeks. I won't hold my breath then. One of my kids has already had to say no to a post-university trip abroad with friends thanks to these ridiculous waiting times.emailubk wrote:Time line for my son BRP(RC)

DX delivery delivered my RC to unknown person. so I never received my RC.
I contacted both with DX and Home office both said RC has been delivered on your address.
now I am thinking about to use premium service.
Is it only 56 pounds fee or 590 pounds
how long I will receive my RC if I use premium service.
thank you guys if some one can help me in this matter.
but home office sent me within two dayscrayoner wrote: ↑Sat Aug 26, 2017 2:20 pmSame happened to me!!! it's so annoying. DX just let anyone sign for it I refused to pay £590 for their mistake and most importantly it has ruin all my planswish_uk wrote: ↑Thu Apr 06, 2017 1:04 amhello All

I've just found this site. Once I get the Case ID this will hopefully solve the problem. Has anyone had any success with this?redstrat wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2017 6:49 pmAfter having sent off my daughter's BRP(RC) application she's run into difficulty with her work. She is a student at university with a part-time job but her employer won't give her anymore shifts nor will he pay for the 3 days' work she's just done because she can't provide proof of residency. She showed a photo of her expired BRP card but the employer interprets this as an out of date visa which of course it is not.
What experiences have others had in getting a letter or something that is sufficient for employers to prove that the person has ILR and the right to work?
Appreciate any advice as my daughter has just called me in tears.
Cheers, Max

I should add that I did ask my employer to use the checking service and they claimed that it did not give them sufficient proof! It would be great to know if your daughter was able to get them to try it and if it is successful. Will watch this space for updates.redstrat wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2017 7:41 pmI've just found this site. Once I get the Case ID this will hopefully solve the problem. hey, udeepak86 what happened with your story? did you manage to get it on time?udeepak86 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 08, 2017 9:13 amHi There,
Any update on your application?
I applied for new BRP card (name change application: 02nd of October)
My biometric was done on 16th of October.
I need to travel back home due to an emergency and I requested HO to return my documents last Thursday. I am aware that HO may take up 10 days to return my documents however I am in a situation where I cannot wait until next week. Has anyone experienced similar issue and can you please share your experience?
Any direct phone numbers to contact? Many thanks for your time in advance.
