Hi,

I am in UK currently with a HSMP Visa. I recently got my EC in Mar 2008 itself.
My query is as per the Tier 1 rules applicable from Apr one has to show 1600 pounds for each dependant in addition to 800 pounds for yourself in one account for the last three months immediately preceding the date you apply for a dependant Visa.

I currently have more than 2400 pounds in my account in India can I use the same account when applying for my Spouse's EC or it has to be an account in the UK itself.

Please help me as I would like to apply for my spouse's visa within the next month or so.

Is that the rule? Could you give the link also.
From your post rule is not clear enough.
