Congratulation to everyone who granted their visas.

Sadly to me I'm appealing my case. Wish me luck. I fighting it until the end.
Ah that's a shame, happens for a reason. What is your timeline so it'll be useful to other members and your history?

Husband's timeline - overstayer 11 yrs
08/16 - FLR (FP) Partner, refused 02/18, 03/18 - JR permission refused with merit
08/18 - FLR FP (Partner) PSC - Approved
07/20 - FLR FP to FLR M Switch - Approved, 03/23 FLR M Ext Approved.

Ah yes I read that the other day. Really sorry to hear that, think the complication arises if you should be considered as a partner or asylum based on the persecution you may face. Even as a partner route a 2-year evidence is needed, perhaps they saw that from when you divorced. I dont understand why have a route for partners or unmarried if they have been together for 2 years and then get refusals. I hope you have had good advice and can move forward with an appeal or a fresh application

The applications are not first come first serve, it's done by a case by case basis. I read someone's timeline yesterday they applied in April 2017 on a partner route with a bit of a complex history and got a refusal this month. I'm the sponsor of my husband and we applied the same route in August 2016, no response. So imagine our agony! It's got to do with case load, case worker and your actual case. So sit tight, talk to your MP to try to complain and get somewhere with him.

I applied 28 July 2017
Biometric done 25th August 2017
Lawyer wrote a very strong worded complaint to the home office 25th October 2017
30 months granted on the 8th of November 2017. "If you don't ask, you don't get" 😁
FLR (FP) Parent of British child.
I was persistent and also had a good lawyer as a result I got the desired results on time.
Good luck to you all.

There is a member update in Flr fp timeline who applied in april 2017 and already received his BRP. H.O still slow about the decisions but atleast its moving. Just a couple of weeks ago some members who applied on march 2017 received their approvals as well. So for all us who are still waiting just dont give up, we will get there soon in Gods perfect time.

I applied on July 30 2017, biometrics in August and refused on the 10 of November 2017.
FLR FP British partner and British child (8) I’m Mexican my partner has multiple sclerosis we cameback to the Uk in January 2017 he is disabled now he has a hard time walking after 4 years in Mexico he is undergoing treatment HO said I can’t probe we lived together from January to July 2017 which is the time I was here taking him to his appointments and looking after my partner and my child and that his illness was not an insurmountable obstacle!!! When in Mexico there is no treatment for such an incurable illness. Anyway I’ll appeal and let you know how it goes !! 🌟

I like your sense if humour, it is true what our dear member has stated, have been waiting NOW for 15 months and the news is, as of this Thursday entering a whopping 16 months.

MP informed, complained raised with Home Affairs committee and will be taking HO to court for unreasonable wait time from Jan 18.

Sitting tight, the HO must be running checks and perhaps will be getting a signature from RT H Amber Rudd to sign off the approval
(That's the dream I have so far!)

Keep strong everyone, the wait is for a reason and will post an update when I can. Wait and don't panic. We can all support each other in this game by posting updates and gaining help where possible

Husband's timeline - overstayer 11 yrs
08/16 - FLR (FP) Partner, refused 02/18, 03/18 - JR permission refused with merit
08/18 - FLR FP (Partner) PSC - Approved

Your not alone.l too am panicking especially after the supreme court ruling l thought the best interest of a child will b considered but am shocked to see a member with a British child or even just a British spouse getting refusal.
It goes without saying that also my refusal is on its way too.
I applied on 20/9/17 overstayer 2yrs n mum 2 a 5 month old British child cz l separated from his dad 3 months ago.
Am hving sleepless nights n when l read some posts am scared to death n the waiting game isn't making things easier also

Update: Called HO to find out the status. The lady kindly referred me to the Croydon Decision Team (which is a first) I asked if this is the same referral that has been made the last two times, last spoke to HO in August. She had said they do this if this is the third referral (new news to me!)

Let's see if I hear back at all.
