Hi,
Does anyone know if the application takes more than 6 months, we can apply for nationality after 6 months not 1 year?

You can apply for nationality one year after the date shows on you permit once you received it. It doesn’t matter how long they take to get back to you I think.

Have u received a initial HO email with Case ID of their receipt to your application before getting your bio-metric one.

Yes, I did receive that email with my case id enclosed.

Any update on your biometric letter?
I just called homeoffice, they said if you sent an email to appointmentexceptions@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk which I did lst Thursday, then you need to wait for 20 working days to get your new biometric letter. So I guess all I can do now just to wait to receive the biometric letter.

No updates and nothing received so far. i think probably wait for another 1 more month before contact them

Heitomorrow, I received my biometric letter today! Also went to the post office in the afternoon and gave my biometric.

Now the waiting game starts for me!

Hi All, I sent my application on 13th July and did the biometric enrolment 10 days later and have been receiving regular emails every month.

We had sad news as one of our direct family members passed away in our home country. As we can't travel back home to be with our family, we were planning to see the family in a neighbouring country but obviously have no means to travel while our applications are being processed. Do you think that if I write to HO with proofs that they'll consider the application quick? If so to whom shall I write and what information should I provide?

And after I get the decision and assuming it's with approval then can I apply for blue travel document again or do they return my national passport?

They said 10 days if u don’t receive the decision within 10 days you should contact them and they will look in to it for you

does the online checking service work for everyone? I applied on 24 October, received my first email on 1 November but the online checking service still shows my reference number as "unrecognised", is this normal?

Hi there!! Are u typing your reference number right?? Ignore the 00 in the beginning and type the rest 8 digitis

To be honest there’s nothing to worry about if you read previous post of members you will realise your not the only one in this situation same thing happened to many members in Past so sit back relax

Can someone advise me please. I received my ILR -- Refugee Route few days ago and it has expiry date on the resident card (31-12-2024). is that normal and everyone has t he same date?, Anything I have to worry about ?
