Expired Passport!!!

Hello guys,
I have applied EEA2 FM RC as a spouse of PRC Holder and i have received BM and COA, however i didn't send my new passport, when i applied. Because HO has got already my expired passport.
Do you think that it will have an impact on issuing a RC? I mean, regarding refusal :?: :?:
