British passport takes around 3 months from start to collection if you are british by birth and have all relevant docs ready. I submitted my sons in late may and collected britsh pasport from gerry islamabad around 4 september. Contact if you need further info for britsh passport

Took almost 6 months in total .. followed the golden advice of few others on here and didn't contact ukvi for status updates as they just rob you of your money! ( only emailed once and regretted as received a generic reply) Contacted my local mp who contacted home office and checked the status for me a few times which I found quite helpful! colour of windows where u work, salary per annum, wife's date of birth, how u got the job and then asked the boss the same question how he got the job both replied ,through a common friend. qualifications were asked. the boss replied 6th form and my husband A levels (which is the same thing but dont know how they'll react to it)
recieved email on 3rd nov 2017: aplogising for the delay as its been the 4rth month now and 75 working days since passport and biometrics submitted.

12/07:2017 emailed them. Response "awaiting decision.
15/07/2017 called charged 36£ reply "awaiting decision.

5/9/2017 my wife called again to ukvi today the informed her that all settlement cases had been put on hold due to a Supreme Court ruling and was lifted on 10

9 October received a email from ukvi that you will hear before 31 October

30 October received an email from ukvi that as we said that you will hear something by 31 Oct but we can’t decided your case yet so you have to patient and wait

reason for hold due to not meeting the minimum threshold and have a child. while the visa was placed on hold my wage increased up and above the threshold.
received 31st oct email
also received email in oct asking for last 6months wage slips and bank statement ever since my wage increased.
I rang numerous times, at first they wouldn't tell me when the decision was made, then a lady told me that a decision was made on the 09/11/2017 and my husband should have got a call on the 18th nov, so this case has now been escalated,
nearly a month since a decisoj has been made and I have been waiting since JANUARY!! its nearly a year!! this is disgusting as we have a daughter!!!!!!
