Post by Hyd059 » Thu Nov 16, 2017 4:47 pm

Hi
Any exports or similar case can reply me please.

At the moment Iam british-citizen. I have a 6 year old daughter on point base system visa for 30months now she is back home. she born in India in 2011 that time I'm on Hsmp visa. So, my question is can I register her for MN1 now or not. I got one son who born in UK 2016 got British passport.

No you cannot. She needs to have ILR.

What is the other parent's visa/immigration status? Daughter will follow same route as other parent.

Are you sure? There is no 2.5 year PBS dependent visa. Do you mean 'child settlement visa'?

Other parent visa is PBS spouse visa 2.5 years.
So, my daughter can't qualify for MN1. She need to complete 5 years PBS visa, then she can qualify for ILR.

There is no such visa as PBS spouse visa for 2.5 years.

You need to check what the visas say. They are likely on a spouse/child spouse visa which is a completely different visa route to PBS dependent visa.

MN1 is an application for British citizenship.

Child/spouse settlement visa is a 2 x 2.5 year visa route before they can apply for ILR.

Hi
Thanks for responding

My daughter visa Dependant( Leave to remain) start from 05/2016 to 11/2018. my wife visa

Spouse/Partner (Leave to Remain) start from 05/2016 to 11/2018

Both got 2 and half years visa.

My daughter and wife have go for extention in 2018.
Than they can apply for ILR.

No. She is already on a child settlement visa.
or she has to go with mother route.
Yes.

Spouse/Partner (Leave to Remain) start from 05/2016 to 11/2018
They are on a spouse/child settlement visa and NOT on a PBS dependent visa.
