FLR (M) - english test

Hi all,
I am applying for my wife FLR M extension in January 2018 after 2.5 years (30 months), she has given her english test B1 in February 2015 for first FLR M applied in July 2015 and was successful. As we all know that there is lot of confusions around this topic and various update from UKVI. The simple question is is she require to give another test or not?
