Why are you going to Pakistan exactly?

Does your wife also have no documentation of your shared existances for the past 9 years?

You need to think long and hard about what you have done together in the past and what document trail may be associated with it. You can get copies of old bank statements.

You have children together - do you have birth certificates listing your name and the mother's name?

Have you been registered with the city while in the netherlands?

Are you legally married? I mean - is the nikah marriage recognised by UK (and NL) law?

What is your wife currently doing in the UK - is she working or studying?

No its not..From what he has told us, I feel its highly unlikely that the OP would be successful in obtaining an EEA family permit based on the evidence he has got currently. If he found it difficult to regularise his stay in NL, where his wife is a citizen, what makes him think that it'd be easier done in the UK?

Can they not apply using the unmarried partner route? I don't think there is any legal requirement for the applicants to have resided legally in another EU state to apply under the EU route.

Although, if the OP returns to Pakistan, I think it would make the application more complex.

I agree. If I were UK immigration, I would think this was a scam and would not grant an EEA family permit. Returning to Pakistan sounds like it may make an already difficult situation worse.

You need to focus now, in the country you have been living in for the last years, on finding and documenting your life together. Doing it from Pakistan will be extremely difficult.

Do you have a bank account and were the statements sent to the same address as your wife’s statements from her bank account?

You need to get a lot more creative in finding the links. Nobody else is going to do it for you. It is fine to say that everything got lost or stolen, but lots of people keep records and you need to gather those records.

If you are married to your wife and have proof of that (and you both have passports/ID cards), then you will generally not need to go back to Pakistan for any EU visa application.

Why do your children’s birth certificates not include your name?

That has all the hallmarks of 'Scam' written all over it.

Come on my fellow Sub-continental bretherin!

Learn some housekeeping and filing skills AND KEEP THE MOST IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS THAT YOU WILL EVER NEED in safe place, and not hand it to that 'friend' who then mysteriously disappears!!!

I was at an AIT appeal hearing (just stting in on one) where a Pakistani guy who had been trying for 5 years to bring his wife over to the UK, and when the judge asked to see some basic docs such as 'Marriage certificate', he just couldnt produce it!

You are not living back home where no one gives a toss these things, and where people spell their names in 50 different ways to go with the 4 different Dates of births!

TAKE YOUR APPLICATION SERIOUSLY - RESPECT THE POWERS THAT BE, AND YOU WILL GET SOME RESPECT BACK.
