How to Report to UKBA for Tier 2 employee visa change

Dear all,

I was wondering if you know where should I report that one of my Tier 2 employee has changed to Spouse visa. I am currently waiting for my SMS Level 1 user ID. I have recently changed the Level 1 and AO under my name, so waiting on these aswell.

Is there a form I can fill, or email UKBA or telephone UKBA ? Not sure.

Hope someone can kindly guide.

HO will surely be aware that the person has changed to a spouse visa, having issued the spouse visa and cancelling their Tier 2 visa.

Thanks for your reply CR001, I get your point but there is a requirement for the sponsors to notify home office in such cases ? right ?

You would expect that HO would know but they still expect sponsors to report this on SMS. Same goes for any sponsored workers who sucessfully apply for ILR. If sponsorship is not cencelled the sponsor does not comply with the reporting duties and puts the licence at risk.

On SMS you have to go under "workers" and the "reporting duties", put the person's details (surname is normally sufficient) and select their current CoS; if they had more extensions with you several lines will appear. Then select sponsor has stopped sponsoring the employee anf continue to submit the form including the details.
