BRP is not received yet

Post by raheelkhan » Thu Nov 30, 2017 8:20 pm

hello members;
i have a question regarding EEA2 application, I submitted my application in July 2017 and received an email from home office on 28th October that my biometric residence card is been proceed and it will arrive in 10 workings days, after these days i contact home office through email saying that i did not received yet and they replied that it will arrive in 3-5 workings days,but did not, today i received another email from home office saying that the caseworker will contact me.
I am not understanding if they gave me a visa why they are delaying, if you have any experience like that please let me know.
Thank you

Hi there,

I'm in a similar situation.

We had a joint application logged of EEA and non-EEA.

It was decided on 21 November and my EEA partner have got her PR a week ago. As for myself (a non-EEA) it's been 13 working days and I haven't got anything yet. Neither a decision letter nor a BRP.

I have been in contact with the HO twice since then but they just keep sending me the same email saying they have despatched the parcel on the 1st Dec, which we have already received but there was mention about non EEA at all. I don't know how more clear I can make it to them than the parcel they have sent didn't contain anything with the regards to non-EEA applicant.

I'm so confused and have no idea what shall we do now. We have to travel pretty soon but looks we have to cancel the trip. This is so frustrating
