Sending Email:16/10/17 asking for a quicker decision as my grandma pass away and i got no visa to travel.
wait and wait and wait, been checking status online everyday!!!

Non EEA PR received:24/11/17 (date 21/11/17) Pretty shock and excited!! first thought was a refusing letter but i can feel a card inside.
DCPR and returning documents received:29/11/17(date 21/11)

So delightful to get my PR quickly and i do believed that HO do listen sometime!!!
Thank you to you all for sharing some info and experience. It have been really helpful.
My HB retained the right as a really complicated self employed. I did submitted a long explaining cover letter together with a summary of supporting documents, i also label each year in different colour.

So I get home and what else but my PR card is waiting for me!

So overall it took them exactly 3 months from date of receipt of my application and documentation to decide on an outcome.

There were some gaps off during the 5 years employment history due to finding work etc but went through successfully. sent an extra explanation sheet of 5 years activity. ( combination of self employed + employment)
