Effect of Socal allowances

Post by Rita12345 » Fri Dec 01, 2017 1:37 am

Hi everyone,
I am wondering is that child benefit and family income supplement does make any effect for applying irish citizenship.we are non-eu family with one child.both of we have stamp4 and child have irish passport.i am working full-time,getting 360e after tax then taking rest of them as family supplement.i would so happy if someone clear us.
Thanks in advance...

The family supplement is as result of you working rather than you being on social benefits from unemployment.
The Child Benefit, as strange as it may sound is not classified as a Benefit at all (had this confirmed by the Child Benefit agency)

Therefore the above will not affect your citizenship
