No it's not ours is still "Awaiting a decision" even though received letter 17/11/17 decided 11/11/17 and ceremony soon, your theory is wrong.
HO have gone for xmas party. LOL. What I have noticed is that we have more silent members than the active ones who actually post their timelines. Most of these silent members come out only when they have issues with their applications. And these silent members get their applications decided successfully without letting everyone know if them.
mrgs1, OP was right. At least in your own case, you came out to tell us you received approval letter. What OP was saying is that everything is muted regarding DECIDED/Sudden APPROVAL LETTER

I think what Ele meant was that no one has reported a change in their online status since Saturday, which appears to be correct.
So are you saying that the fact mine was "Awaiting a decision" on the morning of 30/11 and after 1pm on the same day it has changed to "Decided" and still right now it says it's decided it's something that cannot be relied on and I should contact them? Pretty disappointing if that's the case!mrgs1 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 06, 2017 6:27 pmThe status checker is an experiment, people have had the status change to decided and it's been a mistake, further checks when they've enquired if you read back through. The checker is about as reliable as the English weather. But hopefully everyone will be sorted eventually
Update: just got my approval letter!! decided online 30/11, dated on the letter 04/12. Off I go to book my ceremony.baccus99 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2017 9:10 amSo are you saying that the fact mine was "Awaiting a decision" on the morning of 30/11 and after 1pm on the same day it has changed to "Decided" and still right now it says it's decided it's something that cannot be relied on and I should contact them? From what I remember reading on here there was a single user who's status changed to 'Decided' for a day or so and then back to 'Awaiting Decision'. He/She contacted the HO and they told him it was changed to 'Decided' in error.baccus99 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2017 9:10 amSo are you saying that the fact mine was "Awaiting a decision" on the morning of 30/11 and after 1pm on the same day it has changed to "Decided" and still right now it says it's decided it's something that cannot be relied on and I should contact them? No I received the approval letter and in there it has the contact details for my local county register (Dorchester). I called them and once I mentioned my name they said "yep we got your certificate yesterday already and you will be posted a letter for invitation on the next available group ceremony". It will not be until 8th Feb 2018 but I am in no rush anyway so all good!
Maybe just give your register a call? They might have your stuff too and it's only a matter to get them to tell you what date they could offer you.
was that a public ceremony or a private one? My county council here in Dorset only has 1 per month unless I want to fork out for a private one at £120. So I'm due to get my public ceremony in Feb now as the Dec and Jan ones are full. You're lucky to get yours next week, you must be in a big city?
The user is in a London borough. They have more frequent ceremonies, usually weekly or twice a month.baccus99 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2017 2:51 pmwas that a public ceremony or a private one? I have applied for the naturalization through Lewisham council Nationality Checking Service last month.
I opted for the Joining passport and citizenship application.
