Hi, Everyone, this is very urgent if anyone can help it would be like life-saving for me. My employer has assigned me with a CoS on 07/12/2017 and when I put the CoS reference number on tier 2 general visa application tier-4 graduate switching to tier 2 and it comes back saying invalid, I skipped the application and found the following error in the CoS letter-
Country of Residence: India (which is wrong) as it should be UK as I'm in the UK.
Also, the Agent details in the CoS form wasn't filled
Migrant sourced through agent?
Agent company name?
Agents name?
Agent address?
Though this was a job recruited through a recruitment agency and it was showing as a mandatory field on the CoS assignment form.Though during the license application cover letter it was mentioned the candidate was found through dedicated headhunter
Now the questions are:
Sponsor note has been added to the assigned CoS saying 'Migrant's Country of Residence should read United Kingdom -not India' but within after 1-hour of sponsor note added to the SMS system, I tried to fill CoS section on the visa application form it still says the CoS ref number is invalid.
is sponsor note adding means UKVI will modify the correct field with the modified correct information by looking at the sponsor note or sponsor note does it automatically? if yes why my CoS ref number still showing as invalid? Any clue
Is my CoS invalid due to the wrong country of residence or because the agent details weren't provided that's why? is it both or one of them (note- all other info on CoS is correct)
Possible solution 1 and 2
At the moment on the on the sponsor note only note added for the country of residence but not for agent details, shall that be added as well or just leave it with the country of residence one and wait for the UKVI response? Is it enough to sort this out by adding a sponsor note?
OR
Should my employee withdraw CoS and assign a new one? wouldn't that mean they need allocate a new CoS and pay again for the CoS fee?
I will be eagerly waiting for your quick response on this issue, please please guys help me out of here. Many Thanks.
