Has any of you applied in Feb got approval recentlyâ€¦

no updates on approval found in this site recentlyâ€¦

Mine is still under process. I have mailed to Chennai consulate and got a replay saying that the delay is due to huge backlog

I called the BHC Chennai today and they have informed me that the processing would only be completing by next week...

I am seriously worried about it... My Integra verification got completed before 17th of feb. don't know why the delay after that.

Called BHC now. They are telling it takes atleast a week as they are having huge volume of applications. I don't understand on what basis they are processing. I applied on Feb 25th and some of applicants who have applied on feb 26th have already got the decision.

Yes thts true...i know a guy who got his approval although he applied on 3 march.

Hi Lakshman..

Give me your mail id, i will send the integra form.

For accomidation proof u need the following ..

1. Invitation Letter from friend stating that he is providing you accomidation
2. His passport copy(where ever the details are mentioned)
3. Rental Agreement
4. Council Tax
5. Utility Bills(Telephone/Electricity/Water)
6. 3 months bank statements(not compulsary)

I have been waiting for the visa for the last 36days....

the elapsed working days are 28. has any of your application been delayed this much...

is there any way to expedite the processing....

It has been a long wait for me too. Whenever I contact BHC they say to wait for one more week. They are giving same reply since past 3 weeks !!!

Hello hsmp08 and njylive,

have you got any more updates. I use to call the BHC Chennai on every other day and the only update they have is that it would be ready by next week.

today i got the update that it would be ready by Friday....

i lost hope in these updates now

Hmmm. I guess the people who update do not know the time lines at all. They will simply tell you to call either this weekend or early next week, since the standard time to process the visa application is 5 to 7 working days (once the verification is done).

This time line was mentioned in the FAQ document of the BDHC.

If you want to send more documents to support your EC application, you can always fax them to the BDHC fax number.
