Retention of Rights and Permanent Residence

Post by Alixlboy » Fri Dec 08, 2017 7:34 pm

Hi All,

Has anyone with retained right of residence applied for the Permanent Residence and/or Naturalization recently?
Are we supposed to submit the documents for our ex-spouse as well (i.e. showing previous activity in the State) for the time we would have remained together? These documents are already submitted to INIS while making application for the retention of right or residence.

Anyone?

Thanks,
Alixlboy

Hi Alixboy,

I have submitted EU3 after accepted divorced EU spouse it was submitted 5 different proof of address last 6 years, recent job letter payslips after divorced.

But Inis requested job contract for ex spouse or letter with detailed turms and conditions.
Which she did not willing to help after divorced so sent Inis same letter had it recently without detailed turm and conditions.
So waiting for further questioning or etc.
Regards
Grace

Thanks for your reply Grace!
Did the naturalization guys ask for that or the Permanent Residence guys?
Also did they ask for a proof of her current activity or the activity at the time she was living with you?

In my case, I have had no contact with my ex-wife, since the approval of my application for the retention. How can they ask for such silly requirements after the divorce, I wonder.

Also, was your application for retention of right (EU5) approved before you applied for the EU3? or did you apply for EU3 right after your divorce?

Dear Alixboy,

1 ) permanent Resident asked for her activity during divorce starting and ended .which I have provided them bills , taxes letter job contract.

2 ) I applied 3 applications same date EU5/ EU3/ citizenship.

EU5 accepted with 6 months temporary stamp 4. And asked for only her current job contract tb terms and conditions which I have already submitted job ( letter )last 7 years she is working in 4⭐hotel currently.

Waiting for EU3 approval March 2018- Alixboy please tell is there any chance they take division before given date ??

Much appreciated

Grace

So did they give you a temporary Visa without asking?
and Yes, they can sometimes approve applications before the time that they give us, e.g. in my own case, I was expecting to receive an approval for the EU5 in six months, but they approved it in exactly five months. So, sometimes they can be really generous! :D

Did you let them know that you had already submitted the letter? I think it should work out for you, if they haven't got back to you. They might only be asking for documents because they know that you are in contact with your ex-spouse.
