IELTS Cancelled

Hi all,

My wife was booked in for an IELTS Test on 16/12/17, when she arrived at the venue she was told that it had been cancelled without any prior notice. The next available test at that venue (which is the closest to our location 15.3 miles) is on 13/01/18. the problem is my wife's visa runs out on 22/01/18 and we wouldn't receive the IELTS results before then as it takes 13 days for the results.

Anyone who has been through the same or any suggestions please.

If she is doing the IELTS SELT, then HO would get the results electronically. You only need the SELT number for the form and you can write a note explaining you are waiting for the test result sheet/certificate.

She needs to do the IELTS Life Skills A2 is that the same as IELTS SELT? How do I post the certificate separately after submitting the documents? what reference should I give if I have to send it at a later date?

Have you asked the test centre if you will get anything re result sheet/paper on the day?

The nearest to us is the Portsmouth Test centre. No she was too upset and did not ask.
Regarding submitting the test result at a later date would I just have to add a reference number on a covering sheet and send it?

Contact the test centre and ask them if you will get the relevant reference numbers that you require to complete in the form.
