What happens when your CC transaction gets rejected?

Post by pedrosa666 » Wed Dec 20, 2017 8:06 am

Morning everyone,

This morning I received a text from credit card company along these lines: ‘Apologies for any inconvenience caused when your recent transaction was declined during routine security monitoring. Your card is now fine to use.’

I’m not 100% sure whether that was Home Office trying to get their application fee, but what happens if it was them? Will they try again?

Phone credit card company to find out more information. If it was home office they will send another payment slip for you to try again. Payment has to be successful within a set time or the application will be deemed void.
