New Bank Account During ILR Application

Hi all, I applied for IRL back on the 10/11/2017 after completing 5.5 years on a tier 2 visa and I am still waiting a decision. I open a joint bank account with my wife just before Christmas (after the application had gone in) for our home loan and bills to come out of etc. Can someone please tell me:-

1. Do i have to let the home office know?
2. If so do I let them know by using the change of circumstance form (found online) or send them a letter to the "Liverpool settlement casework" as stated in the Set(O) guidance notes?

I have looked online for an answer but cant find information about this anywhere and can not get a hold of the home office as I do not have a contact number that gets me through to an actual person to talk too.
