Can you please help me out in guiding me in filling the Tier-1

Should I fill this with my current Job Software Engineer or should I leave this blank? please advice

4. D4. Please enter the visa number on the entry clearance or visa

Is this the VAF no printed on my Visa stamp in my passport? or is there any other no?

5. Also is Travel document different from Passport?
Do I need to send my Work permit as well along with the application?

6. D15 When does the applicant’s current leave expire?
Is this my current Work permit expiery date? or any thing else?

7. c) SECTION 3 - TIER 1 (GENERAL) DETAILS (page 16 of the application)
Is the applicant currently in the UK under

Bhumi, where did you get the info for 11th March application status? How would a fresh application (ie: "HSMP"+FLR) would be quicker than just us applying for FLR (initial application)? However nothing would surprise us with the Home Office though! :D

What was the fee deducted for your application - 750£?
Entry Clearance granted from the expiry of the current leave or from the date of application?

Is it ok to apply 6 months is advance for the FLR? What do you people suggest?

Need to register for my kid's school, thought i will do that after extn!!

Sorry Bhumi for the confusion. When I said "Got it!" I meant got your URL in the previous message regarding fresh Tier-1 application timeline.

However my timeline is as follow:

Applied on : 7th March
Home office Debit : 10th March
Letter (Reference Number Dated): 10th March
Status: Pending

According to HSMP_2007 timeline, hopefully it will arrive next Tuesday.

Otherwise I will know the delay would be caused by the complexity of my application due to the confusion for sending the dependent forms "separately" which they had asked for £395 extra for each dependent.

Fingers crossed.

HSMP_2007, you said "Refer: 10th March", do you mean the letter was date on 10th March or you had received it on 10th March? If so, what was it dated? I believe it should be dated on the same day of debit.

No I didn't. So there is a slim to medium chance that they will return my passport stamped but my the dependentS. So it would not £395 to me but EACH dependent.

Visa granted from Date of Application? this is strange so if somebody applied 6 months in advance provided he was on 2 years EC and granted 3 years visa starting from date of application so after 3 years he'll be 6 months short of 5-years ILR requirement.
Then he'll have to apply again for FLR just to cover 6 months and who knows at that time it'll be tougher to get points and the fee will be more than £1500.
This is insane![/quote]

if you are depending with (2+3) hsmp visa for ILR then you have to apply just 5 weeks before that.

Nothing in the post today yet .. anxious.

Heard that some fresh Tier-1 applications submitted latter than us got the paperwork back already. Shouldn't our (half way through) should be easier and quicker to deal with?
