You cannot switch from Vistior visa to tier 2. You;d need to go back to your home country and apply from there.

It’s for someone else, I had my passport 2 years ago and have always found this forum very useful.
I was aware that it’s not possible to switch from visit to tier2 from within Uk but just wanted to double check. Thanks
