Direct Joining UK Employer using T2 Long Term ICT

Hello,

I am working with an Employer A, Visa is Short Term. I was transferred from India branch to UK branch under T2 ICT Short term.

Now I am offered a job with Employer B in UK directly. Employer B is applying for T2 Long Term ICT and asking me to go to India just to submit the application.
Since, I will be paid more than 73900 GBP so I don't have to work with Employer B for 12 months

Do I have to work with or at least join Employer B outside UK in order to become eligible for T2 Long term ICT visa?
