PIO to OCI London ?

Got British passport and PIO card many years ago. (Originally had Indian passport). On 27 Dec 2017, applied for PIO to OCI conversion online, and got a file number generated.

Was on vacation last week. Contacted VFS London today and they said they will not entertain any more PIO to OCI conversion, asked me to contact HCI London.

HCI London put me on hold for 2+ hours and I gave up. Emailed them, tweeted them, no response so far.

Any suggestions how to get my OCI card now ? Has PIO card become invalid ?

appreciate any help.

Deadline was 31st December. You might have to go for fresh OCI application.
