Visa processing Pk

hi there

I have applied from hsmp dependant visa from Karachi (gerrys) on last week of March. Could anyone please advise me on

1) How they going to inform me once visa processed

2) How long usually the visa processing takes

Your response will be much appreciated as it would be help me in planning my relocation

According to my knowledge if you have submitted the right documents, then soon they would call you for finger prints at the british high comission in islamabad or may be consulate in KHI. after you finger prints taken it would take roughly around 3 weeks. so i belive all together it would take up to 4-6 weeks depends on ur documentation. Did they give you any particular finger prints date? normally Gerrys adviser give u date as soon as you submit your application well that was until last year i dont know the procedure this year. you cann even check on their website

Well i think since recently they have changed their procedure and now they take applicant finger print on the day of application submission. But you are right last year when one of my freinds applied for visa was called for finger print at a later stage.

So now all I m anxious about how they going to contact me & how long it going to take

Sania they will not contact with you.you have to call fed ex office and then they will tell you yours application status.
Also if they will ask for interview you will find from fed ex.
I dnt knw about HSMP but they are dealing spouse visas in 10 days.
yes you are rite they will take finger print same day you will submit yours file
but if you prepare yours file best then its no reason to reject yours case

I have already started saying goodbye to my freinds & relatives so hopes all goes well Im in islamabad until wednesday visiting my nanie and will contact gerry soon on my arrival.

Hope it wont be long process. any further advise wd be much welcomed.

by the way i have checked the online tracker on the link that you sent, all it says at the moment that my application is forwarded to Islamabad HC on the day that i submitted my docs

Hi Sania

I've have heard from a few people who applied for spousal visas (via Gerry's), who received news within 7-10 working days. I wouldn't think the period of waiting would differ too much for a HSMP Visa.

Thanks Sammie & congrats a lot; i was reading in other thread about your spouse visa approval.

I have tried gerrys no this morning staring with 0900 but i was kept on hold for very long. Unfortunetly at the moment my hands are badly tied in Islamabad to follow this up. Today is 8th working day since submission so i think i should now start seriously chasing this so hopefully ll do it on Wednesday on my return.

Try calling 0092512098999 and go to option 2(for urdu) and then option 6(for other queries). They normally answer the phone within a few minutes. Have your QML and GRY-PK number at hand as they will ask for this.

I had a relex morning today in Nanie place but it turned to nightmare when dailing the Fedex number I have tried the number below for 2hrs but with no luck
0092 512 098 99

I have also given 0900 104 11 number to my husband but he also couldnt get hold of them. Please can anyone let me know how should one dail this number from abraod, he did tried the ones below
0092 900 104 11
0092 8865 900 104 11

Unfortunetly my stay in Islamabad delayed so now i ll be only back to khi on friday so I want him to call if this is possible.

try the number on yours Fed ex receipt and dont press any 1 or 2 option just try to talk to any oprator.
Try from pakistan its beter and bit cheaper i dnt knw about uk it work or not
because its too much busy so some time you have to wait in the line longer then normal.try to call them early morning thier opning time i m sure you will get the line.

Hi Dear

I tried all morning to contact them by phone but i even couldnt manage to get un enagaged at any time. Their phone numbers including one on my Fedex recipt & website were engaged at all time, even just to check I tried it at late evening but it was enaged at that time as well. It seems that they put their phone receive down so as to not to attend any call.

Please please can cany one suggest now what to do, i more & more furstrated as the days passing by.
