Thank you Longestjourney92.
Jay I need to hope cos my church member have been refused just a month ago, after 12months application and went to court twice home office says his child and mother are OK so he should go back home.
Strange. This makes me wonder in what circumstamce does the HO decide to grant a person who has a British parter and child, is it based on the caseworkers descretion or based on the law ? I’m just wondering why many people get granted when they have Brit wife and child but another in the same circumstance is being told to go back just like the one kissish17 just refered to.
Most people don’t really reveal the true reason for their refusal.
You can’t be asked to leave your children behind when home office knows you have no means of coming back, Unless when you have some bad history with them, otherwise you can’t be sent home for no reason.
If your application is genuine with genuine proof and everything there’s nearly zero percent chance of not being granted or winning an appeal

Dear Brothers/Sisters,
I’m new on this forum. Applied FLR fp based on marriage with an English lady. We have been living together for more than 2 years. We have submitted all the evidence of co habitation and marriage certificate.
I got stress reading all the stories here, people are waiting for Year moreover some for more than a year😇
I have submitted my application on September. Biometric done on 2nd Nov. Haven’t heard anything from the HO yet.
Is any idea how long could it take ?
Happy New year & best of luck for everyone.

good day everyone. am new to this forum, I made my application on the 24/11/2016. base on a British child and a partner till now haven't heard from the HO. I contacted my MP to contact the HO why taking long to make a decision on my case, they replied my MP saying because my case raised complex issues relating to the European convention on human rights as such it falls outside of normal service and also my case is waiting to be allocated to a casework team. this was since 26/10/2017. anyone here has an idea of what else I can do next. thanks

The BETA trial system was disabled on the 12th December. There is no other link to check status.

You can call the HO and ask the service agent to check it on their end. Internally it works. I have asked for updates in the last month this way without referals.

Hey guys just a quick question

Overstayer with a pending application, is he regarded as illegal ?
They closing bank account these days so are they likely to get affected ?
My friend account just got shut down
I’m sure everyone relates to this

Submitting an application to HO does not suddenly grant an overstayer 'legal status'. The person is still an overstayer and that only changes IF the application is successful.

People with pending applications won’t be effected but keep very limited money in accounts just for DD only .
