Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the wishes!
I had 50 points and my job does not falls in the list of shortage occupations.
Congratulations Gaurav, I should also hear it soon as I too score 50 points....fingers crossed
Guys
I am out of January race, although I've got 50 points my documentation needs some corrections. So my luck will be tested in Feb
I wish you all good luck

Can someone confirm if my RLMT (conducted in November, December) is valid till Feb,March?

Thanks
An advert once a posted is valid for 6 month to request for RCOS

What happened in your case? Has HO came back asking for corrections ?
Thanks Scottish, Sptula - atleast I dont have go through the pain of RLMT again.
Yeah It is just not a correction but one of the document is missed - Itz a shame. My hiring manager escalated about HR contact who handled this irresponsibly. this is an internal problem anyways

So my application will be re-submitted next month

Unfortunately I missed a good chance this month, as 50 points is considered fine this month (so far). I believe this time 21 is the cutoff and wish all of you get through

How did you find a document is missing ? Has HO sent queries and then you realised a document missing?

I’m really sorry to hear that - this is such a tough process. I’m sure you will be absolutely fine for next month though providing everything is submitted correctly. You have a good score and hopefully things will start getting back on track after the sudden jump of December.

@babu, I have already explained this earlier, cutoff is not defined, it is known after quota finish only

Only 1 person posted so far about RCOS approval and he is with 50 points
also, we are not sure whether he was approved under "out of month exceptional allocation" or normal monthly allocation....

Have you all already provided RLMT documents as well? My company haven't even been contacted to do that and it's 16th Jan...

I checked with my sponsor and they are yet to hear on status of my rcos. I have 65 points not on shortage occupation and HO did not raise any queries it seems. Hoping for an update in couple of days now that ppl at higher scores started getting updates.

My Employer has been applying since Oct'2017 every month.

In Oct, application was not considered - no decision.
In Nov, it was 'refused'. When enquired, HO advised that they sent queries, but it was never received by the Employer! Got to know after a month (on 4-Dec) that HO mistyped the Email ID of the employer and hence the Employer never received it!
In Dec, reapplied between 5th and 10th to consider the application on exceptional reasons in December quota. But it was not considered in December and status was 'Pending' throughout December!
In Jan, status changed to 'Under Review' for the application made in December and it's still the same.

Can someone advise me how can we push HO to consider my application for out of monthly allocation quota. This is because the cut-off was 21 points in November where I had chances but it was 'refused' due to HO's mistake. Now, there's spike in applications and I doubt whether I will have sufficient points to compete with other applications in this month or next months.

I missed November chance due to HO's mistake and now I don't see any possibilities in this month or coming months if it will be decided based on points, as cut off will be high due to lots of pending applications since December.

Please advise what are my options?
