Should i apply in 7 month or 6 month

Hi i would like to make a query,i have been in a non salaried employment for the past 2 years working part time earning about £6000 a year. I have recently started a new job in october which is salaried and the gross annual income is £17,400 a year, i am currently working in both jobs, is it possible to apply in category B or should i wait for the 6 months and apply under category A. Thank you

In either cases (category A / B) you must be with your present employer from 6 months/have earned £9300 in last 6 months and earning at least £18600 per year. I think if you have some savings then can only focus on your second job alone yielding £17400 and cover the shortfall by savings instead other job income. If you don't have savings then can combine other job income £6000 under category B where first you should have earned £18600 in last 12 months and that route might be little longer for you.

Ok thanks for your reply i think the best option is to wait for 6 months combine both jobs and then apply under category A, am i correct?

Hi thanks for your reply i am still a bit confused so i am going to break it down so i have a better understanding and advice. From my Non salaried income over the past 12 months i have been working part time my wages are listed below

For the salaried employment which i have started in October the gross annual salary is £17,400 my basic salary is £1450 a month so far i have received November 1450 and December 1450,is it possible to apply in January 2018 under category B or will i have to wait 6 months April 2018 before i can apply under category A after been in both jobs for 6 months? ps i am still working in both jobs.Thank you

I dont think that you can apply under category B in January 2018 because you might not have earned £18600 in the last 12 months as per the wages figures you supplied. And as told earlier that under category A, I am not sure that you can combine both employers wages where one is salaried and other is non-salaried. Easiest way to either start doing extra work at job where you earning £17400 per year until that job completes 6 months or cover the shortfall by saving or wait until you earns £18600 in previous 12 months under category B which is a longer route.

I have been in job 1 for 2 years earning £3870 a year and i have been with job 2 for 2 months and i am earning £17,400 a year. OPs second job is only for the last 2 months at £17,400.

Woul 12 months evidence suffice or should OP wait 4 months to include the second job??
