Child's surname different from both parents

Dear all

I need urgent help.I applied for my daughter's naturalisation .Her surname is not the same as mine or my wife . we belong to Pakistan and don't care too much to have the same surname of the whole family.
The immigration office has sent a letter asking for an explanation "why the child's surname is different than both parents"? ۔
I don't know how to respond to that.Has anyone come across a case like that.or any sugessions to deal with it.?
