English Language Test for Dependant

Hi All.

Please I would like to be guided as I have conflicting information. We will be due for ILR next year, but not sure if my wife will have to show English Test qualification. Please advise.

The english test is really easy (If she communicates day to day in English at almost any level)

LIUK not particularly difficult but needs preparing. In itself it's fun learning. Start now and then it won't be under pressure.

She needs B1 English test OR she needs UK NARIC UKVI red route. They both cost the same - £150'ish. English test is quicker.

Degree in English from correct Uni etc is OK. Reasearch the credentials needed.

For me it was easier to do the english test then to run after proof of my taught in English Masters

My question is that on (b) above, with the original certificate, I just need a statement obtained from NARIC. On the NARIC website to obtain the statement I need to fill the Immigration Tier my wife is on and which Immigration Route. The options under which Immigration Tier = Tiers 1 - 5, Settlement, Nationality. Which do I choose?
