Urgent Pl-GMC registration

Dear all,

I was refused an tier 2 visa due to wrong format of IELTS test on 20/12/2017. My HR reapplied for a COS in Jan and in-spite of my points being in excess of 60 no reply was sent from the HO. HR is clueless as why the COS was not granted and has escalated it with HO. Worse scenario I will be granted COS in Feb. My problem is I have to be in UK on 21st Feb for ID check at GMC.
Kindly advise regarding an option of Visitors visa for ID check and whwther there are any chances of its rejection.
I fully meet the criteria of visitors visa and have been issued one in Last May. But since the circumstances are different after a Tier 2 rejection I am hesitant.
