Rental Income

Post by samira_uk » Thu Feb 01, 2018 11:06 am

Hi,

to use rental income from properties in the UK, is the online title deeds (£3 version) is enough or we need to get the official ones (which will be sent by post)? The guidance is a bit unclear about it.

Thanks

Mostly HO don't like copies/online prints. So most likely they will like to see official real version which usually comes in post.

The guidance clearly said:

A copy of the title deeds of the property or of the title register from the Land Registry

So it seems they dont have any issue with the copy. But it is not clear whether they accept the online copies as it completely similar to the posted one.

I searched other posts and it seems the online version is acceptable but I wanted to make sure about it.

Don't risk expensive application for £4. Official copy cost £7.

It is not about the money. It is about the timing and we dont have time to get that version. Any comment from those who used the online version?
