English Proficiency proff - ILR to Naturalisation&Passport

Post by suneshkumar » Sun Feb 04, 2018 12:01 pm

Hi

Searching in your existing posts, I found the below process which I am going to follow. Thanks for this post.

I have a question that my friend told me I have to proof my English Proficiency by applying in UK NARIC, even though we proved the same while applying our Tier-1 General at my initial application and never approved again at renewals or even at ILR. But is this now again required at Naturalisation and Passport process?

I am following the below Process is : <<please let me know if any thing changed>>

1. Complete form AN and the passport form from the Post Office
2. Complete the two separate fee leaflets
3. Book and pay for your NCS appointment and attend NCS where they will copy your documents and give you all the originals back.
4. Then you wait. You will also have to enroll your biometrics at the Post Office once HO sends the letter to do it.
5. You will receive approval in the post, standard 2nd class mail, followed by a ceremony invitation letter.
6. Book your ceremony when you get the invitation letter.
7. Attend your ceremony and get your certificate.
8. NCS will inform HO once you have attended the ceremony.
9. HMPO will process your passport. It can take a week or two, it can also take a few weeks.
10. Passport delivered.

Cheers

Sunesh
