Home office holding my passport.

Post by Monserrat » Wed Feb 07, 2018 3:13 pm

hello everyone.

Does anyone know how I can contact Home Office for my unreturned passport? My embassy won't issue a new one unless I take my old one with me.

I have recently been given a 30months visa based on flr fp application after overstaying for 13yrs. Everything has been returned to me except my now expired passport which they have had since 2009 when I made my first application and it was never returned. I wonder if someone can point me in the right direction?

Many thanks.

What if you declare it as lost?

Husband's timeline - overstayer 11 yrs
08/16 - FLR (FP) Partner, refused 02/18, 03/18 - JR permission refused with merit
08/18 - FLR FP (Partner) PSC - Approved
07/20 - FLR FP to FLR M Switch - Approved, 03/23 FLR M Ext Approved.

Thank you for the reply.

Correct me if I am wrong, Do you mean to report it lost to the police and just state that I have not had it back from the H.O since 2009 therefore I presume its lost? If so, it sounds like I may do that if the police would view it as a passport lost situation.

Get your visa, immigration or citizenship documents back.

They should either return it or confirm that they lost it.
