Heard that some fresh Tier-1 applications submitted latter than us got the paperwork back already. Shouldn't our (half way through) should be easier and quicker to deal with?

th,
Yes u would think..BUt i think they are really dealing our application only if they feel like. I called the HO this morning..and no surprise she was not ready to give me any info what so ever not even whether my case was assigned to any case worker..so we only got to wait and wait..I do not get why they would not answer us..it just increases their workload too if we keep calling them again and again to get an answer..I guess i am still gonig to call again..until i get someone sensible on the line..

Yes..check other forum posts..for Tier 1 application - Fresh application applied on 25th March have already been processed and dispatched to the people...i cant believe people like us are still waiting...

I had applied on the 7th so that's 5 days earlier than you but still nothing from HO. I never call HO as if it comes it comes, don't think calling them every day would help except giving yourself stress and endless waiting on the phone.

Bhumi, I have to go for a business trip next Tuesday so I had called HO up this morning try to figure out the progress if my trip can go ahead or not. This is the first time I called them and the experience is very good. Had waited around 5 minutes on the phone before someone answered the phone. The lady was very kind and helpful. Had explained to her my situation and she then looked up the system confirming all the documents are sent out this morning from HO (approved). I then asked for the tracking number which she had given me as well so I am hoping to receive it by this Friday (in Recorded Signed For).

So Bhumi you may only have to wait for another week for yours to arrive at your door.

Received referrence on 6th march
Approved on 18th of March

Congratulations Mate !!

Could you please give us the final list of all the documents you sent with your application. Along with any cover letters you may have attached.

Did you apply for your spouse too with your application ?

Thank you very much.

Need help regarding hsmp extension

Post by hskhan2008 » Thu Apr 10, 2008 3:05 pm

hi
i am going to apply for my hsmp extension, and i am using Tier 1 general application form, in this form in qualification section they ask the question
Please indicate the applicant’s method of degree verification:
under this question they are giving 3 options

1. Qualification on the Self-Assessment Tool
2. Qualification not on the Self-Assessment Tool but a NARIC letter and/or certificate is enclosed
3. Qualification not on the Self-Assessment Tool but a NARIC letter and/or certificate was provided with the applicant’s initial Tier 1 (General) application

As i am going to apply for hsmp extension do i need to select the 3rd options, and the main confusion is what evidence i have to provide to support this

thanks & regards

MIM, I had sent the application form, approved HSMP letter, no covering letter, ISA statements, photos, passports, birth certificate and marriage certificate. Yes, I had applied it for my wife and son as well, they will need separate application form.
