Alkhamdullillah
Yesterday i have picked up our ILR card
eaxctly after 4days of decision and 2 day after solicitor recived the letter
Its shows expires on December 2024
I heared normally they make it for 10 years anybody know anything
Can we tarvel back to Pakistan or India is theer any problem
thanks for all
Normally 10 years but due to a new biometric system taking place in 2024, I think all BRP cards will be updated to the new system. Hence a date of expiry for the card (not ILR) is 2024.
I can't comment on whether it would be an issue going back to the home country after being granted DLR from a previously refused asylum application.
But as it was refused (asylum application) , UKVI may have, from the evidence before them, made the decision to refuse it as it may have not warranted an asylum grant as they must have concluded Pakistan or India does offer safety and protection and their is a system to seek justice.
I don't know how an immigration officer at border control may view it, but I would have thought a refused asylum application was exactly why it was refused. You do not need asylum in the UK.
I will leave others to comment in regards to this. Maybe best to seek professional advice in regards to this.
