Exceptionally Complex Issues - Switching From Tier 4 to Tier 2

Post by louisam » Mon Feb 12, 2018 9:41 pm

Hi all, I received an email today stating my application raises exceptionally complex issues, and I was wondering if anyone could share possible reasons why? I recently completed a master's program in the UK and applied to switch to a Tier 2 visa while within the UK. My Tier 4 visa expired on January 30; I applied, paid, submitted my biometrics, and sent my documents special delivery on January 29. I believe I provided all the necessary documents, etc.

Any insight on why this might be the case would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Just to note, I paid for 10-day priority and received this email today (12/2).

It is a standard email, many applicants get it if HO might take longer to processes your application.

I called, but they said they were unable to comment on the issues and that if they needed anything else from me, they'd get in touch.

Just wanted to post on this board to see if it was definitely something I should be worried about or not.
