Hi All,

Finally after long wait there is change in status - my application is processed and is sent through courier today. I will expect it to get by tomorrow. Anxiously waiting, rather praying!.................

Called BDHC Chennai for status

Dear All,
Called the BDHC,chennai today morning.
they said the "the application received in BDHC,Chennai on 20-Mar-2008.
(but submitted to VFS,Bangalore on 17-Mar-2008) What the H**L why 18 & 19th Gap is there from VFS Bangalore.

Asked me to call again after 20-Apr-2008 to get the status.

Got EC for Tier 1

I applied from within UK. I got HSMP approval on 7th Feb. Applied for EC under Tier 1 on 10th March. Received 3 yrs EC on 9th April.

EC processed from Chennai for MArch 13

Just came to know that one person who had applied on the same day as mine on 13th March from Bangalore VFS has got the EC.

Wondering why I have not got it yet :(
He had prior UK travel experience, so that might be the reason for relatively faster processing ? (!!)

Cottongear, Even I had applied for my EC on 13 th march thru VFS (although Hyderabad )....

Even I Havn't heard anything man .... wot does that make us ?? EC blood brothers !! Hi-Five Bro :D

I have my ILR since march 2013, previously based on HSMP+Tier1 ext. All views are my own, am not a professional on immigration matters.

anybody travelling in may first week or april last week?
Which is the best way to check for authenticity of accomodation advertisments on gumtree or other forums...please shed some light on this.

guys,
i called up BDHC chennai to enquire the status.
they received my app on 28th March and was told that the current processing time for HSMP visas is 1 month. So i can expect something by the end of this month.

Got my passport stamped for 2 years ..today .
I had applied for my EC on 13 th march from VFS hyd .

I have some doubts reg. EC application process...

I have got my hsmp approval and wish to apply for ec now.

1. Do i need to provide tax returns for last 2 years? I am not sure whether i have that for the year 2005-06. Would it be an issue?

2. With that integra check, will they call out HR people and tell that its regarding visa process? (In case i cant reveal the info to my manager at the moment) would that cause some problems?

3. Do we have to provide originals & copies of all degree certificates, marksheets of UG & PG course, copies of all application forms (why this?)?

4. Do we have to give a copy of the driving license?

5. Did you apply for a post dated visa & if so for how many months? Within what time from the EC approved visa date, do we have to go to UK to be safe?

6. Did you get a job offer so that you attached that info alongwith the application, or you just attached some responses from the job consultants?

Whats your opinion on this?

7. Did you provide any EPF statements from your HR? if so, how to ask for the same, like do we have to mention any reasons for this?

8. Do we have to give last 3 months salary slips & bank statements (along with those we submitted for hsmp approval)? again do we have to get it attested as done earlier? What kind of reasons we can give our HR for this?
