traveling to EU with Permanent residence card from UK

Hi everyone
iam holding Moroccan passport with UK permanent residence card as family member of EEA and I want to travel to Germany alone without my wife .can I do that or do I have to have a visa .iam holding now biometric permanent resident card . please advise

My understanding is that if you are NOT traveling with your EU spouse, then you need to apply for a Schengen visa.
Char (CR001 not Casa)

Due to the schengen borders code a residence card issued on basis of the eu directive 2004/38 give visa free entry.
The problem is there is nothing about EEA family member at the text of a british permanent residence card.
A schengen visa is the onliest solution.
