Can I travel while my PR application in process.

Dears,

My PR Application as Non-EEa family member is in process since 15/12/17.Last week I requested me aand my partner’s passports back as we need to travel middle of March.

My 5 yrs EEa resident card is valid untill sept 2018.(as I am married more than 5 years).

My question is :-

Is that ok for me to travel as my RC is still valid when I will return?

Would there be a problem as the letter indicating from home office with returned passports mentioning that One should apply for resident permit on return if He/she want to travel out of UK?
