Hi everyone,

I know many in here are claiming they can get updates. Can I just input if your application was made outside of UK the link that people are posting will not work. The link is only for those who applied in UK.

As for those who applied outside of UK they must call or e-mail there is no other way to check.
The only exception is if you were to contact your MP but I believe that is after the 12 week wait or in some cases the 24 weeks maximum the home office have to respond.

I'm hoping that by now you had a decision made on your application? I hope it was positive

I received the same email you mentioned, yesterday (16/01/18) and was assigned a VAF number too at this point. Can I please ask what happened after this, so I can be prepared?

I applied using the priority service on 22/12/17 and my spouse submitted biometrics on 29/12/17 so I am just waiting around for an answer now. Hoping it's not too much longer!
