2 days short in 28 days to 5 year ILR - Dependent

Post by naveediiqbal » Tue Jan 02, 2018 2:00 pm

Hi,

I have a similar question for my dependents (I am going to apply for ILR end of January 2018).

My wife and Son (both had entry clearance and entered UK on 24 December 2013. their current Tier 1 G dependent extension is be expiring on 24 November 2018 so they may need to apply another extension. By counting 28 days before 5 years it comes to 26 November 2018. as 24th November is Saturday and 25th November is Sunday. So I am thinking send original Tier 1 extension with NHS fee on 24th (for 24th 2018 -as date posted for application through postal) and along with it a vary application for 26th November 2018 for ILR through a check payment.

Can someone advise if this is a viable option or any other alternative will be more suitable.

Option 2 may be possible.

I am in the same situation as yourself. Can you please let me know what you did and what was the outcome.
