Query on Section 12D on Set(o)

Post by apsisher1983 » Sat Mar 03, 2018 8:40 pm

Hi All,

I have been struggling to find an answer for below query.

On Set(o) Application - Section 12D Tier2 Migrant:
---------------------------------------------------------
QUERY : For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 2 migrant, documents showing that
you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules.

1. I was in Tier2 (ICT) from SEP 2010 and Mar 2013
2. From Mar 2013 I have been on Tier 2 General and applying for ILR

Should I Tick the box or not based on above , If yes , what docs to be shared from Tier2 ICT.

Kindly advise.

Just put a photocopy of your Tier2ICT BRP or Visa page.
I included a copy of my Tier PSW because I moved from that to Tier 2 and they just returned it to me after the application is considered.

I’m pretty sure that’s only applicable if you are making up the 5 years from other categories AND Tied 2. You have 5 full years on Tier 2.

I thought so too. But there is nothing wrong in including it. If they don't need it, they will set it aside.
Like mine, I included a coloured copy and black and white copy of my PSW visa. They returned the 2 back to me. It's better safe than sorry IMO.

Query on Set(o) section 5.6

Post by apsisher1983 » Sun Mar 04, 2018 12:04 pm

Hi All,

I was granted tier-2 general as QA Analyst in 2015 and my role has been revised to Testing and release manager in 2016. I have gained some additional responsibilties but my employer confirmed that i still dont need any separate COS.
My Soc code is 2139.

Query: In section 5.6, Rate of pay for this SOC code stated in the code of practise.

I have checked with HR and they inturned confirm with company solicitor but the figure they told me is not matching with one provided in codes of practises document.
What shall i enter in this section ? The one which HR told me or one which is mentioned in document.

kindly advise for the answet to fill in.

It is not necessary to keep starting new topics. Keep all your questions on the same application in ONE topic/thread.

The figure you need is the one in the latest codes of practice / SOC list.

Assume this is the latest code of practices link :
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration ... illed-work

and for Experienced worker its showing as : £28,900

shall I enter this for the current rate of pay for SOC 2139 ?

Please advise.
