REJECTION WIFE'S VISA - REASON DISALLOWED MARRIAGE CERTI

Post by RJ1006 » Wed Mar 26, 2008 9:40 am

Hello Friends,

Urgent response highly appreciated :

Originally from india

came to UK in 2005

recently got married in india

filed application for wife as dependent visa.. ON 17 march 08

following documents were attached :

[1] original payslips from the first employer to till date today

[2] original marriage certificate issued by Marriage registrar

[3] original photographs marraige , reception

[4] original tenancy agreement

[5] internet banking for last 8 months.

[6] photo copy of passport with arrival departure dates and valid visa for my HSMP

[7] original letter from home office.

[8] utiliti bills, and all other govt papers.

Received rejection letter, stamped passport of my wife on 25 march with letter saying immigration officer is not satisfied with marriage certificate attached with application.

IT WOULD BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED IF SOMEONE CAN HELP ME OUT NOW WHAT WILL BE THE NEXT STEP TO RESOLVE THIS QUERY?

We are in the process of arranging all the bills for marraige hotel, reception, photographers bill - all original, affidavit from high court duly notarised, but your early response will enable me to resolve this query

thanks in advance

Was there any more information in the rejection notice as to why the ECO was not satisfied with the marriage certificate?

What type of marriage did you have? Court or religious? In the case of the latter, did you submit both your registration and religious marriage certificates?

Was your Marriage certificate in English (or translated to English)?
